# Comment Desk

> Build report card comments for your class in the browser: pick a level per learning skill or strand, get a comment with the right name and pronouns and no repeats across the class. Student names never leave your device.

Comment Desk is a report card comment builder for Ontario elementary teachers. It drafts comments from 852 original, pre-written sentences in 3 packs (Learning Skills, Kindergarten, Language and Math 4 to 6), fills in each student's name and pronouns with agreeing verbs, avoids repeating a sentence across the class, and keeps each report box under a character limit the teacher sets. It runs entirely in the browser.

Free today. Every pack, any class size, the CSV file and the printable class sheet are free with no account. Nothing is for sale.

## What it is not

- Not affiliated: Comment Desk is not affiliated with any school board or ministry.
- Not an AI writing tool: no sentence is generated for a student and nothing is sent to an AI service.
- Not a curriculum or policy document: the sentences are original paraphrases of classroom behaviour, and no ministry text is reproduced.
- Not a finished report card: every comment is a draft for the teacher to check against what they saw.
- Not a server: student names, levels and comments stay in the browser's local storage and are never uploaded.
